Fìkh Qun-bì (/qun/ /bɨ/ [education] [top; lid]) is a subtropical Town located in Sukheeu Zone, Rs-20pvèl District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Fìkh Qun-bì is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Qun-bì was founded by Thugguhz Zëgesëm, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Fìkh Qun-bì has a yearly average temperature of 17°C (62°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 9°C (48°F). Fìkh Qun-bì receives an average of 226 cm/y (88 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Fìkh Qun-bì covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 5640 m (18503 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fìkh Qun-bì was founded durring the early 11th century, by Thugguhz Zëgesëm. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Fìkh Qun-bì was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Qun-bì is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Fìkh Qun-bì is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of premissive carved bedrock streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The frontieer-style defences has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Right off the bat Fìkh Qun-bì hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The town is very clearly a joyfull place as well as wealthy. Music can be heard often, as well as laughter. The smell of food and drink permiates the air. You can’t help but smile.

Fìkh Qun-bì has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Fìkh Qun-bì's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Fìkh Qun-bì has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Fìkh Qun-bì has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Fìkh Qun-bì's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

In Fìkh Qun-bì every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.

The Venomroach near Fìkh Qun-bì are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Fìkh Qun-bì's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves line dance to channel Truename Magic energies of tier 1 via moments of science.

History

Fìkh Qun-bì is still bloodied by a recent violent conflict. A crushing bandit raid, a lost siege, getting caught at the periphery of a major battle, or some other calamity has inflicted severe damage on the place. Some communities may suffer a longer-term version of this, their youths lost in a grinding, endless battle against some perpetual threat.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century a local hero by the name of spared the town from the rampage of a legendary monster. One of Fìkh Qun-bì's festivals remembers the hero.
